The Magical South
 We
invite you to bicycle with us through Ireland’s great province
of Munster. There you will encounter a landscape born in the
mists of time – an enchanting assortment of deep forests,
majestic mountains, wild seacoasts and pastoral glens. Once
the proud domain of High Kings, and now home to the mighty giants
of hurling, (Ireland’s national pastime), it is a land
of immense contrast, indelible history, and tremendous hospitality
so characteristically Irish.
We begin in Ireland’s heartland, County Tipperary, a frequently
overlooked treasure-trove of pastoral beauty and ancient legacy.
From Cashel’s famous Rock, along the banks of the Suir
and through the Glen of Aherlow we ramble westward. On to Kilmallock,
Killarney, and Dingle, with scenery so gorgeous it will take
your breath away, quiet country lanes that are a joy to ride,
and food fit for kings and queens. Finally we cross the River
Shannon, for a brief taste of County Clare’s dramatic cliffs,
picturesque villages, and world famous pubs.
We love to share this part of Eire, and do so as well on our
Best of the West adventure, which features both the provinces
of Munster and Connacht. However, if you simply can’t break
away for that full fifteen-day journey, then consider this worthy
alternative as a good place to start. Come visit the land that,
for centuries, captivated Kings of Ireland. We’ll show
