Celebration of Irish Music
Featuring the 36th annual Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy 2008

The sounds of fiddles, flutes and pipes from every doorway. A whirling dervish of dancers feverishly dancing sets long into the night. And plenty of spectacular footpaths, all within a sea breeze of the blue Atlantic. If you love traditional Irish music and dance, then you won’t want to miss this wonderful adventure. You’ll get a tasty sample of County Kerry, an earful of County Clare, and an ample dose of the finest walks anywhere in Eire.

We’ve carefully tailored our one-of-a-kind walking journey to coincide with the Willie Clancy Summer School, Ireland’s premier traditional music event – now in its 35th year. Join devotees from around the world for this unbridled celebration of music and dance that transforms the little town of Miltown Malbay into a festival of sight and sound. Each day we’ll walk Clare’s best pathways, then choose from recitals, Céilithes, or pubs packed with Ireland’s finest musicians each evening. It’s an annual pilgrimage we’ve been making for years. Join us and you will understand why – the cráic is mighty!
